1. Third person past tense is the chosen format for this RP. . .we’re not gonna kick you out if you write in any other format, but God, is first person RPing annoying(sorry, couldn’t help the editorial).
2. Please make your best effort to come up with your own original ideas. Yes, we are all inspired by one another, that's to be expected, but this is a game about creativity and thought. Even a silly plot is better than one that's been rehashed a hundred times.
3. It's ok to stop a thread before it comes to a logical conclusion, but please be in communication with your thread partner(s), either through IM, PM or cbox. It's frustrating as a partner if you think that there's plenty more to explore in the topic and your partner randomly stops responding. Conversely, if you are the partner wanting to continue, be direct about your interest. Don't expect that your partner is just being difficult, he/she might've just forgotten about that thread.
4. If you want to play with someone, please ask directly. We have a number of different communication devices available (cbox, IM, PM etc.). Saying "Hmm. . .I'm bored" doesn't necessarily communicate what you want. If I see/hear that, I think "That person's looking for something to do." If I see/hear "Hey Dean, would you mind getting one of your characters out to play with mine?" then I know what you want. It makes it easy for me to help you out, and it saves you getting upset because you think I'm ignoring you. If you're not looking for someone specific, then saying "Hey, does anyone want to play with one of my kids?" is also perfectly fine.
