It was nice to be able to curl up and read a good book for once. He hadn't been able to do so due to some... problems with his own vast collection of books which had still been a pain to replace as of now. He still had about seven of his grand bookcases to fill, and he feared it would take a few more decades like the last time. Ah well... at least it gave him something to do again instead of just sitting there idly for eternity.
So there the visiting Lord sat, a book in his hands and his dark eyes reading over the printed text quite interestedly. He had never even thought such a book to exist. What were these airplanes and cars spoken about in the books plot? Some sort of sorcery that he had yet to learn of, perhaps? Hmm... he'd have to look into that for sure.
Like usually he was dressed regally, rings with priceless gems decorating his fingers, and the buttons on his black jacket with diamonds set in them. He certainly wasn't someone to be shy about the wealth he had aquired, and was more than happy to show it off.
He was a vampire Lord, of course...

Sayriel hurried down the hall, her cloak flared up behind her almost tripping her as it weaved in and out of her pants legs. She grabbed the handle of the first door she came to and opened and shut it as quickly as she could, her body pressed up against it.
She listened as the footsteps that had been following her approached the door stopped and then the handle her hand gripped as if her life depended on it jiggled. She held her breath as the footsteps moved off down the hall, sighing in relief of escaping a persistent guest who smelled of sweat and whiskey.
Smiling at her escape she turned her shoulder against the door and leaned her back against the door as she looked around the room for the first time. The walls were lined with shelves and shelves of books, their dusty smell made her nose twitch and then she let her pale Grey eyes fall on the chairs and gulped as she saw for the first time a man sat in one, with a large book in his lap.
She took in the glitter of his jewelry, figuring he was a rich guest and one she best ignore with her track record for trouble, so she pushed away from the door, and walking along the wall lined shelves, as if she came into this room for no other reason then to read.
She almost reached the end of the first wall when the smell of the man reached her... VAMPIRE!, her neck nearly buckled as she turned and glared at him.
Figures ...just her luck to be in the same room as one of them. She turned back to run her finger along the row of books, telling herself to ignore his race..just this one time to keep her mouth shut and not growl at him...she had just managed to get back in favor with Nicolas...she would try very hard to behave.

It was an immediate thing. He knew someone entered the room before they technically actually stepped foot inside the Library. Dark eyes flickered up to spy on who entered, not really curious, but more of a need to know. Would this person be annoying? Perhaps the type that he could get along with? One thing he did know what that the figure was female, and he could tell just by seeing her sillouhette.
Then it hit him, and he nearly hissed out. It was a bloody werewolf! A good for nothing, mangy mutt that had no right to walk on the face of the earth. They should all be put to death, as far as he was concerned so they could leave the world in peace. There was no need for any more animals, as they were just giving the humans a reason to create slayers. Vampire's didn't cause uproars, as most of them weren't barbaric, but... those damned mutts were so annoying.
He remembered fighting with one. He would have won too if Damian hadn't come in and dragged him away. The bastard.
The vampire snapped the book shut with a loud clash, his gaze narrowing. "What are you doing here, mutt? I thought you would know better than to appear around a vampire. After all, we are far more superior." He mocked, crossing one leg over the other and staring straight at the other darkly. "I suggest you leave my presence immediately before I decide to cause you harm."

Sayriel jumped as the book the vampire held snapped shut, her eyes watched the dust flare up from the pages and then lifted them to the vampires scowling face. "What are you doing here, mutt? I thought you would know better than to appear around a vampire. After all, we are far more superior." He mocked, crossing one leg over the other and staring straight at the other darkly. "I suggest you leave my presence immediately before I decide to cause you harm."
Sayriel swallowed and then raised her chin, "Everyone knows werewolves are far superior to vampires, so I suggest you read some more of these books and figure that out for yourself." she told him as she walked along the wall, keeping him in her sights.
"As for leaving." she said with a shift of her shoulders, "I am allowed to be here as well as you, should you wish to be out of my presence, I can point the door out for you.' she told him as she pulled a book from the shelf and made like she was ignoring him as she flipped through its pages. All the while she kept telling herself not to make trouble, not to disappoint Nicolas anymore today. But the smell of vampire was distracting those thoughts.

"Everyone knows werewolves are far superior to vampires, so I suggest you read some more of these books and figure that out for yourself."
"Oh yes. Werewolves are far more superior. We all want to be infested with diseases unknown to man, have the ability to change into some flea-bitten mutt that people merely want to kill because you're a nuisance to society. Everyone would love to drool all over themselves, and lick their ass when they're dirty. Far more superior indeed." Lucian drawled, rolling his eyes in annoyance. How dare this beast think she was more superior. Stupid woman.
She was a werewolf and a woman. All the more reason to put her to death. Insolence and.. well, she was a mutt.
Dark eyes lazily watched her, the white slowly darkening before turning white once more, as if he couldn't decide what he wanted to do. Would Nicolas be angered with him if he were to attack another, even if it was to rid his castle of pests?

Sayriel slowly put the book she had taken from the shelf back in its place, brushing her hands on her pant legs to rid them of book smelling dust. She smiled at the vampire, stilling the urge to growl and still her thoughts of leaping at him and ripping his throat out in her mind.
"Wow, you put some massive thought in to the race of werewolves, if I didn't know better I would say you were jealous." she told him with a wide grin.
Walking over to the chairs when he sat she took the empty chair that face him, sitting and folding one leg over the other as if she had all the time in the world.
"Its ok, I am sure you can find someone else who will let you lick their ass and let you drool over them, since thats those are the only solid details you mentioned, the idea of it must appeal to your raw, unkept, vulgar vampire side." she told him with a small smile on her lips, as if she knew something he did not sort of smile.
